Installed my new X slide on my 365. No issues mounting the Romeo Zero. Problem is the slide will not go into battery. Tried with snap caps loaded in 12 rd. mag and no go. Only put 1 in and still will not go into battery. I have to hit the rear of the slide to go into battery.

For those that care... the primary reason that Sig can now get the P365 approved for sale in California is that a recent court case found the California Approved handgun list, illegal. The court found that no gun on the planet meets all of the California requirements.At least for me the Kahr ergonomics are just a little off, while the 9mm P365 is very good. So I think a Sig .45 just enough larger than the P365 to accommodate the larger round would be pretty good. Sig seems to like 1911 pattern for .45 though. Someone mentioned recoil with a 230 grain Gold Dot in the Kahr P45.

The down side is they are small parts but the upside is any 365 can be converted. The P365 platform is very versatile. As a note the parts are also relatively inexpensive if you shop around. A new OR P365 Tacpac is on sale at PSA for $579, I'd guess used that gun would be $475-$500 ish. No clue on SAS, but perhaps a bit lower due to lower demand.
