Last year I purchased a Tesla Model Y Glass Roof Sunshade with UV/Heat Insulation Cover and it definitely made a difference.The heat is half assed at best, the noise is loud, the car has software glitches that really ruin the experience. The number of events really has minimal impact on battery usage. The main power usage from sentry is just keeping the computers awake, which is a constant ~200W power draw. The only extra power sentry uses is when the lights flash. That's like 70,000 miles of energy usage over 10 years if turned on 24/7.
