While there can certainly be benefits of each stock design, we have found that it truly comes down to personal preference between the two.

I don't know a ton about the traditions inlines but the difference between the CVA wolf and Optima is non-trivial. Better trigger, better release lever design, supposedly a better barrel( similar to the one used in the accura), little bit different stock shape. I'd go with whatever one of the guns fit's you the best.

The Optima is on the back of the guard and haven’t had any problems whatsoever. I now own an Accura MR Nitride. It may possibly be the best hunting muzzleloader ever produced.
