The battery and alternator tests passed but the third test (charging fault) failed. I have been reading around and some people are saying that it could be battery sensor or the fuse of battery sensor.Saturday, I took my car to my Honda dealer and they replaced the battery. When I went back to go pick up my car, I turned on my car and saw it was showing it had a "Charging System Problem". It will almost always give me the message "Idle stop temporarily interrupted system warming up or charging" regardless of how long the battery has had to charge. Took the van (2012 Odyseey EX-L, ~115,000 miles) to Advance Auto to test the battery. They said the battery looks good, but that the alternator is showing as essentially dead - not providing any charge.Shutoff – procedure seems to work. Procedure to try fix AIS: Take your van out for at least a 15 min trip and be sure it’s warmed up. If you have the message popup activated, confirm that is says unavailable when you come to a stop. They said the battery looks good, but that the alternator is showing as essentially dead - not providing any charge.

If the +12V wire touches the body or any ground it will arc and blow the fuse. If you're sure the fuses are good then use a multi-meter set to DC, or a test light, to check and see if one of the wires has battery voltage on it. If neither have +12V on it then you'll need to figure out why (fuse, wiring problem, etc.)
