Granted, it might be nice to have the same model available for both voices, but I think adding a "Signature" or whatnot would reclutter the Selmer ...

Surely a better choice than all the $8-9,000 Jinbao basses on ebay, but at a price still difficult for me to justify. The HR* added kind of a buzz on top of everything that I didn’t like. The "best" embouchure for a jazz or rock musician may not be the same as the "best" embouchure for a musician who plays classical saxophone. The "bottom lip rolled out" expression is used a lot in discussions about saxophone embouchures.May 30, 2003 · I bought a tenor Z and was able to hear it against a Keilwerth SX 90R and 1950's vintage Mark VI- all instruments, including the Z, were played by two pro musicians. The Z in my opinion blew the SX90R and the Mark VI away. The Z is on top for resonance and projection. It actually sounds like an amplified horn.
